The Dreamtoons Movie (also known as The Dreamtoons Movies due to being more than one film, originally known as Dreamtoons Feature Premieres as a working title, or Dreamtoons Presents outside North America) is the collective name of a series of American comedy films (both animated and live-action) featuring the characters from the Dreamtoons franchise, produced by DreamWorks Pictures, and currently distributed by Universal Pictures.

History[]
Prior to 1992, there are several films (particularly animated films) produced by DreamWorks featuring the Dreamtoons characters making cameos, and three films were originally pitched as short films for Dreamtoons before switched into original feature films such as Toyland (1948), Mouse in the House (1961) and A Christmas Carol (1975).
In the mid-1960s, Dora Wilson has pitch to produce an animated musical feature film starring King Julien titled The Musical Story of Madagascar, focusing on how King Julien found Alex the Lion and other big cats and hired them as bodyguards to get rid of savage fossas who tried to eat his people. In 1969, however, the project was either got shelved or canceled. It wasn't until 2005 when the story of the canceled film became into a CGI film titled Madagascar.
[Mention a series of 10 Dreamtoons TV specials based on classic stories (such as Goldy Twist and Robin Roo) that were originally intended to be theatrical films before being released instead as TV specials]
Onward to 1986 and 1987, animator TBD pitched two Dreamtoons films to Wilson, one of them was under the original title Dreamtoons Presents: Escape from the Alien Saucer (later renamed The Dreamtoons Movie), serving as a full-length remake to the 1957 featurette UF-Oh, No!, and the second was inspired by the Brothers Grimm's fairytale The Fisherman and His Wife. Both films started in production in 1988 and 1989.
In Summer 1992, The Dreamtoons Movie, was initially released in theaters to positive critical reception and its box-office performance had grossed approximately $TBD.
This catched the attention of Wilson, who decided that after the release of the Wishing Fish, they would start production on an official sequel to The Dreamtoons Movie initially titled simply, The Dreamtoons Movie 2, which would be a remake of The Manzian Queen, where Jerry and Garry embark on a journey to stop a millionaire from capturing a manzian white Lion, and additionally rescue the Dreamtoons animals from him, it was then renamed to The Manzian Queen: A Dreamtoons Movie, although the film was seen as a good idea, it was cancelled in favor of Swamp Sports, although a Dreamtoons film starring the duo would be made in 2012, in the form of the action-adventure epic comedy film, Jerry and Garry: Guardians of Earth, TBD
