• In her earliest 16 cartoons, Kooky used to be insane and chaotic like other screwball cartoon characters she was inspired by such as Universal Pictures' Woody Woodpecker, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's Screwball Squirrel, Warner Bros.' pre-1951 Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, and fellow Dreamtoons characters the Wacky Ducks, Willy and Winnie, Will, Jill and Ben, Cat, TBD, TBD, TBD and TBD but when other directors begun to direct Kooky's shorts following Bob Clampett's departure, her insane and chaotic behavior was turned down and she was made more mature and less aggressive to make her more sympathetic for audiences.
