Ico the Brave Little Horse (also known as Ico and as The Spirit of the Prairie in Europe) is a 1983/1987 Argentine-American animated dark fantasy adventure film produced by DreamWorks Feature Animation, directed by Manuel García Ferré and written by Ines Geldstein, loosely based on a story by García Ferré. The film stars the voices of Philip Graser, Judith Barsi, TBD, TBD, TBD, TBD, TBD, and narrated by Sterling Holloway (in his last film role before his retirement in 1986 and death in 1992).

The film begun production around the 1970s where García Ferré pitched it as a television animated series before Dora Wilson suggested to switch the idea into a feature film. Despite the film was completed in 1983 after a 3-to-5-year production period, and first shown in film festivals in few countries, Ico the Brave Little Horse went through a four-year delay due to release issues and in favor of My, Mye Mystery. The film was finally released on July 9, 1987. Prior to its release though, the recorded voice dialogues of both Ico and Precious (both originally voiced by June Foray) were redubbed by Philip Graser and Judith Barsi.

Ico the Brave Little Horse received generally positive reviews from critics and grossed $TBD in the domestic box office.
