Grandpa Duck[]

  • Janice, my dearest granddaughter. As you may know, I have a long lifetime to go through, though it seems that is now that I've been struggling to have more time to keep up once I've now aged like this. I ain't as strong like I used to be. Especially I no longer to run and fly like before. This means I may no longer to be with you and the rest of our family. It's the way things are.

Sly DeFox[]

  • (repeated line) Leave it to Sly DeFox!

Others[]

  • Ducks: (singing; Janice survives and flies) For she's a jolly good ducky. For she's a jolly good ducky. For she's a jolly good ducky. Which no denying she's so lucky!

Dialogues[]

  • Janice: (as she and her friends are finding Otto's kite) I think I found your kite, Otto. Look.

(Janice's friends gathers to gaze up to a tree, which Janice is pointing up to the kite on a nest, on top of it)

  • Otto: (gasp to hesitation) Y-you mean... (gulps) My kite is up there.... on the hawk's nest?
  • Janice: Sure, that looks like it, ain't it?
  • Possi: Gee, Janice. I don't think we should be close to that nearby tree where hawks are inhabited.
  • Moe: Just like our folks warned us about.
  • Otto: Uh-huh. They're right. Besides, it's only a kite, so it doesn't mean anything to me.
  • Janice: But I ain't see a hawk right now. There's more time to retrieve the kite. (approaching the tree, she tries to fly up, but after few times, she tumbles down and fails) Aww, shucks! I'm not old enough to fly.
  • Possi: Well let's forget Otto's kite and scram outta here, Janice, before the hawk comes.

(As Possi, Moe and Otto scurries off from the tree, Janice, on the other hand, looks up to the nest and still determined to reclaim Otto’s kite from there. Otto appears behind her)

  • Otto: Janice, hurry! Arencha comin'? (instead of follow her pals, Janice, in bravery, begin to climb up the tree) Janice! No! (Runs back to the tree, followed by Moe and Possi) Whatcha doing now?!
  • Janice: I'm still getting your kite back!
  • Otto: You ain’t kiddin'? You'd be end up in the hawk's belly if you're not careful l!
  • Janice: It’s worth not to be, I'll be careful. I’ll be quick before the hawk does. Don't you worry.
  • Otto: Janice!
  • Possi: Don't interfere her, Otto, as long she knows what she's doing, I hope.

  • Millard: Janice, my dear. Since you're now home for long break from school, just to remind you that we are going south for migration during the season.
  • Janice: Where in south?
  • Mallard: We are flying to Los Angeles.
  • Janice: (in enthusiasm) Los Angeles? Home to Hollywood?! Wowwie! (In a flash, she dashes to her room where she throws to packs her belongings into a suitcase. She closes it and carries it to dash outside) Oh wow! I always wanna go to Los Angeles! Let's go! (As she is outside, Mallard stops her by pulling her back inside, on her ponytail, which she runs in place before she stops realizing her father had stopped her) Dad! What's a matter? We are going to south aren't we?
  • Mallard: Now, Janice, you seemly don't understand what we meant about "we".
  • Janice: What?
  • Millard: What we meant to say is you are not coming to south with us. It's only me and your dad.
  • Janice: (sadly) Why?
  • Millard: You're not able to fly yet. You're too young.
  • Janice: B-b-b-but can't I walk on foot?
  • Mallard: Definitely not, Janice. You see, it's dangerous for a little duckling like you to go out all alone. There are danger looking around.
  • Janice: What danger?
  • Mallard: There are preys like foxes, coyotes, snakes, wild cats, and hawks, like the one that almost ate you.
  • Millard: So, please, dear Janice. For love's sake, promise us that stay here where it's safe.
  • Janice: Whatever you assist. But who's gonna take care of me while you're gone?
  • Millard: Your grandpa of course. Oh, that reminds me. I must call him to babysit you immediately.

  • Janice: (to Ringo) You're not gonna eat me, are ya?
  • Ringo: (amused in disbelief) Eatcha?! (laughs) Oh, ain't that cute? (to the camera; breaking the fourth wall) Hear her talk. This is what I get; a little comedy from this little comedian to "quack" me up.

(In the cave where Sly and Robert are at the dinning room table waiting for dinner)

  • Robert Bobcat: (impatiently; banging on the table with his knife and fork) Grr! Where's my food! I ain't gonna wait all day!
  • Sly DeFox: (calmly) Patience, dear Robert. It'd took Silly long time to fix us up a quite of tenderness cuisine.
  • Robert Bobcat: Well, he better serve us something good here, see? My stomach is depending!

(Silly Snake appears from the kitchen and rings his dinner bell)

  • Sly DeFox: Splendid timing. Dinner is served.
  • Robert Bobcat: (smiles excitedly; wraps a cloth around his neck; laughs) It's about time! (Silly brings a TBD to the table front of the duo) (sniffs) Smells swell. I hope this is gotta be a fat, juicy, tender, lovely.., (opens a top reveal a can of Boston baked beans, to awkward silence. And Sly and Robert's emotions turns from enthusiasm to disgust) beans… Another usual can of Boston baked beans… (grow into fury, he throws the open can at Silly, which it caught his head stuck) BAGH!!! I SICK OF BEANS!!! Beans, beans, beans, beans, beans, beans, beans, beans, beans, BEANS!! (throws a tantrum, banging on the table) Always beans!!! I want steak!
  • Sly DeFox: (to Silly) Could you have not fix us something else than beans, boy? (stops Robert and patting him to calm him down) Take an easy, Robert. I know how you feel.
  • Robert Bobcat: (calmed) Oh, Sly, I ain't livin' here to have nothing but the ones we got. I'm starving! I would ever to have something tasty than beans, like a duck.

(While Ringo and the gang are searching for Janice around the forest, Rick seemly overhears something and looks around with a terrified look on his face)

  • Rick: (gulps. Points at Ringo on his shoulder; talking softly with his worry tone) Uh, R-Ringo. Ringo.
  • Ringo: Yes? What is it, Rick?
  • Rick: Ain't ya have a feeling that we've been followed around here?
  • Ringo: No, I ain't. But what makes ya think of that?
  • Rick: I have big hearing in my ears, that’s what tells me about it. I-I don't think we should be here, don't ya think?
  • Ringo: Aww, Rick. You must be hearin' things.
  • Rick: But I don't think..., (gasps) Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Dichta hear it? I hear it again. And, and he's coming! Coming closer!
  • Ringo: Now what's a matter, Rick? You're getting excited.
  • Rick: Shhh... I hear him. He's almost here! We must... We must... (looks up with his shocked look) Aah! HERE HE COMES!! DUCK! (Zooms into the bush)
  • Ringo: Duck? What duck? Janice? (He turns around to look up, in his shock, to see, as the camera quickly pans to the right, the hawk swoop down towards Ringo, as he quickly dodges the powerful bird and hides in the bush with Rick) Rick o'boy, what ya saw is ain't a duck, but a hawk, see?
  • Rick: I know that was not a duck, but I meant to say was to duck down. And luckily you did since that hawk didn't catch you.
