DreamWorks Games (DWG) (formerly known as DW-Go Fish Video Interactive Group until 1986, DreamGames until 1991, DreamWorks Home Software until 1995, and DreamWorks Interactive until 2000) is the video game division of DreamWorks Pictures, founded in 1982 in Olympia, Washington, and headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, which produced arcades, video games and CD-ROMs that are either original or based on DreamWorks' film library and third parties. It is a joint venture of DreamWorks Studios and Electronic Arts. In April 1995, Microsoft jointly owned DreamWorks Interactive as it formed into a joint venture company. It was jointly acquired by Electronic Arts from Microsoft and renamed DW-EA Los Angeles in 2000, and to Danger Close Games in 2010. In 2013, the studio renamed into DreamWorks Games. The company is primarily known for having developed the Medal of Honor and Command & Conquer series of video games.
