A Girl Named Umaru Doma (known in Japan as "Umaru-chan" (うまるちゃん)) is a Japanese animated children's television series created by TBD and produced by Doga Kobo in co-production with DreamWorks Animation Television. It ran from 1999 to 2004.

It centers around a young hamster hoodie wearing girl named Umaru Doma who has many dreams and a huge imagination. He lives with her older, miserable brother Taihei and her mother Mrs. Doma and her friends TBD.

In 2005, the Umaru Doma Movie was released to theaters, serving as the finale to the series.
The series was succeeded by Himouto! Umaru-chan in 2015.
